went on a little vault tour with a friend and his brothers near my hometown on friday, these are the not so crappy pictures out of all the bad ones i have taken
i don’t know what this vault used to be, but it was big, like a maze underground, with varying kind of passages, from big steel doors to vents to really, really small holes we had to crawl through. but let me tell you it was so much fun!

i’m fairly confident the reason everyone assumes Curiosity is about the size of a dog is because informal NASA press (and by extension, the general culture of people who care abt what NASA’s up to) talks about Curiosity like it is, in fact, an unusually smart and self-aware pet, and i think that’s beautiful.
